RFDA HT1600RB

The HT1600-RB furnace is designed to perform impulse excitation measurements at elevated temperatures up to 1600 °C in an air atmosphere or with an inert gasflow (optionally) on 2 samples simultaneously. Measurements can be performed in predefined intervals during heating and cooling (1-3 °C/min) in order to determine the elastic properties and damping as function of the temperature. The light weight refractory brick insulation is optimized for carbon-containing refractories. Optionally, a dilatometer can be mounted on the system to measure the linear expansion simultaneously with the elastic properties.
