The flash point Tester MINIFLASH FP Vision is uniquely designed to determine the flash points of liquids and solids. The flash point tester uses Grabner flash point detection method, which is triggered by an energy-controlled electric arc and measures instantaneous pressure increase inside a closed chamber. By heating the test chamber from the top, the analyzer prevents condensation of high volatile compounds and guarantees improved test results.

MINIFLASH FP Vision flash point tester continuously closed cup design and small sample volume of only 1-2 ml offer maximum safety. No offensive fumes are released in the testing area and little to no sample waste is registered when performing a flash point test. The fast thermoelectric cooling at the end of each flash point test plus the easy handling of the instrument also save expensive labor time.

Grabner Instruments offers two versions of Flash Point Analyzers MINIFLASH FP Vision: Flash Point tester  MINIFLASH FPH Vision, for high temperatures up to 400°C, and Flash Point Tester MINIFLASH FP Vision, for temperatures between -25°C and 120°C.

Flash Point Tester – The New Technology

Advanced Peltier Cooling Technology
For a quick sample turnaround and extended instrument life time Grabner Instruments developed fast thermoelectric regulation of heating and cooling. This technology permits to extend the measuring temperature to above 400°C and optimizes Peltier performance and life time.

Ignition Protection Technology
Ignition Protection Technology is intrinsic to the MINIFLASH design. Tests require only 1-2 ml samples. Plus, there is no open flame during the flash point testing. The continuously closed cup design, automatic explosion probing and a controlled air feed protect against fire and offensive fumes for unmatched safety in flashpoint testing!

Combustion Analysis
Sometimes samples contain small concentrations of flammable compounds, which do not show a definite flashpoint. MINIFLASH FP Vision detects even a very small flame and graphically shows the presence of contaminations in those samples.

Flash Point Tester Flexibility

The ability to control parameters like heat rate, ignition energy and the amount of atmospheric oxygen present in the combustion chamber let users simulate nearly any flash point method and environmental condition.

Flash Point Tester Wide Range of Applications

With Grabner flash point testers, flash points are determined over a wide temperature range, simulating all standard closed cup methods as well as GO/NOGO tests using only 1-2 ml samples. The programmable fuel dilution curve (diesel fuel or natural gas in lubricating oil) is a powerful tool for used oil analysis to prevent costly engine troubles. FP Vision:
