GDA: Portable detector for hazardous gases and chemical agents

The Gas-Detector-Array GDA2 is a battery operated, hand-held measuring instrument designed for the detection of toxic industrial compounds (TIC) and chemical warfare agents (CWA). It consists of a combination of ion mobility spectrometry (IMS), a photo ionization detector (PID), two semiconductor gas sensors and an electro-chemical cell. The released gases can be detected within seconds with detection limits from ppb (1:109) to high ppm concentration.
